Energy, position, intensity, profile

It verifies depth dose curves through multi-layer ionization chambers and integrates dedicated X and Y strip chambers modules for simultaneous position and profile measurements.

For both protons and heavy ions

It allows to verify the position of the peak fall-off region with a water equivalent resolution better than 500 um during the weekly and monthly QA procedures.

High resolution

The new housing for PMMA absorbers in front of the device allows increasing the spatial resolution in depth dose measurements.

TERA is designed to guarantee a high charge sensitivity (down to 50 fC) while ensuring a wide dynamic range (from 1 pA to 3 mA).
